The Good House

the house

we have 2 king & 2 queen bedrooms. all furnished with quality linen & each having its own spectacular view over the Murray River.
we have 1 large dining table inside that seats 10 but if you prefer to eat outside the balcony is perfect for a casual meal & can accommodate a few more.
the master bedroom is ensuite, with a fully equiped main bathroom for the house, complete with shower & bath. There is a shared powder room & separate toilet room.
the kitchen is fully equiped for those that like to cook. pots, pans, knives, baking equipment, blenders, slow cooker, microwave, dual oven, fridge freezer & all the accessories you will need.
the house is equipped with a 65” tv, record player & sound system, a selection of books, magazines & a few board games.
the house has multiple areas to relax & soak up the surroundings. we have 2 different lounge areas, the dining room, a cosy open fireplace area & of course stunning balcony.
we have fast property wide wifi provided by starlink.

the grounds

we are sat on 50 acres of private land, which you’re welcome to explore however you like.
we have a beautiful breakfast terrace, perfect for your morning coffee, a wrap around balcony for enjoying an afternoon wine, a large extended front balcony for the whole group to hang out on & many other cosy nooks for picnics or anything else you can think of.
parking is not a problem.
access to the lake is a 5 minute drive down the road. Head down the driveway & into Tallangatta follow signs for the boat ramp & in you get.

the facilities

an incredible experience, surrounded by nature & immensely relaxing. often under a sky full of stars the hot tub is truly magical.
we provide 2 adult kayaks with universal fit soft roof racks for easy transport to the lake.
bicycles are available on request.
the good house sits right on the high country rail trail. walk, run or cycle or more!
we can help organise, car, motorcycle & e-bike hire, just give us a heads up before your stay.
the house has a fully equipped laundry open to guests complete with washing machine & dryer.
